Time Takes Time - Supermoon

It's always exciting when two friends combine on a new musical project and it's our pleasure to introduce today's LCM featured duo Supermoon - Hannah Elizabeth and Griff Jameson. A stunning collaboration between two rising stars of the UK folk/pop/rock scene, Griff Jameson from Fred's House and Hannah Elizabeth, one third of Said The Maiden. Our LCM #TrackOfTheDay is a beautiful ballad and their first single 'Time Takes Time'.

Initially a solo project for Griff in between Fred's House albums, frequent live performances with the in-demand Hannah quickly found the pair collaborating, simply enjoying the thrill of producing music together and creating what has now become the 'Supermoon' sound.

Playing all over the UK with Said the Maiden, Hannah Elizabeth's influences are very much planted within traditional folk roots. This is a stark contrast to Griff Jameson's recent musical history, having penned a string of quirky rock/pop anthems for Fred's House.

Together, Supermoon arguably offers the best of both backgrounds; this is simplistic, classic songwriting at its best: stripped back, harmony-driven with just a guitar, violin and exquisite vocals. The duo's forthcoming EP is a fine example of two outstanding talents hitting their creative peak; intelligent, beautifully crafted acoustic adult pop that never fails to hit the mark.

Touring to promote the release, Supermoon will be making their debut appearance at The Portland Arms, Cambridge (opening up for Ivor Novello award winning Scott Matthews), and launching their Supermoon EP at The Blue Moon, Cambridge, on 18th March 2017.
