We have been huge fans of our next LCM featured artist Nashville based singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton since his time in the Steel Drivers. Now a multi-award winning solo artist with his own band, Chris is a incredible live performer with the the kind of vocal which gives you goosebumps. You will be pleased to know that yesterday Chris released his latest nine-track album 'From A Room: Volume Two'. It takes its name from Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A (the capital “A” in “From A Room”) where it was recorded over the last year with Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb. Along with Chris on vocals and guitar and Dave Cobb on acoustic guitar, the album features his wife Morgane Stapleton on harmony vocals as well as longtime band-members J.T. Cure on bass and Derek Mixon on drums. In addition to seven songs co-written by Chris, the album features versions of Kevin Welch’s and our LCM #TrackOfTheDay “Millionaire” and the Homer Banks/Lester Snell-penned song made famous by Pops Staples, “Friendship”.
